![]() I had to bring everything with me, as the numerous times I tried calling no one would answer the phone. Thank heavens I did! The weather worsened as the day went on but, fortunately, we had a table reserved for us upstairs in the barn. I made a reservation with Stone Tower for 7 people as the weather forecast looked questionable. There will be several members who will be getting out of their membership after being treated so badly. do not make plans to visit Stone Tower it you expect to receive exceptional customer service. We went to 50 West Vineyards and Chrysalis who were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I would have gladly paid more but they didn't even extend that option. Instead they embarrassed myself and my clients. 75% of the chairs were available so you would think they would have accommodated us. I made reservations with two other wineries and would have done the same if the website had been clearly made a point that you were only welcome with a tasting. Our entire group was taken back with the treatment we received. I questioned why and the female manager among asked me to leave the premises although I was having a very civil conversation with the other manager. There was 30 t0 40 seats available from just what we could see at the entrance. Even though there was an over abundance of seating available. a group of 12 that could have easily broken into two of 6 They were rude, disrespectful and were not willing to accommodate our group. The management team greeted us at the entrance to tell us that we weren't welcome at the winery since we did not make a reservations. We have several friends that are members at the winery and we've had a great experience until today. ![]() Big time disappointment and definitely not returning. We rushed through a plastic cup of wine and a piece of very cheesy pizza, closed up shop, threw away our garbage and headed out. Miserable and just average wine and food. The flies were swarming and I was already $150 into this experience. LOL!!! I said no and took the (very warm) bottle on my long walk around the building, past the back of the serving area and up the stairs. The server was surprised I order a very good bottle of wine and then offered me wine “glasses”.at $5 just for the glass. I decided to get a bottle of wine so I didn’t have to keep getting little plastic cups of $12 wine. I then had to repeat the long walk downstairs and around the building to get some napkins, etc. Sigh! Our pizza arrived and was left in a pizza box with no napkins, plates or utensils. ![]() It was hot so I opened the windows and was subsequently barraged by flies while I sipped my teeny little $12 plastic cup of okay wine. I walked all the way around the building, through the first floor, past the back of the serving area and up the stairs back to my wife in the middle of the room. I got two glasses of for for $12 each.they were actually little plastic cups half full. I walked around the entrance all the way around to the outside of the serving area just to wait in line for 10 minutes. I then walked all the way downstairs and passed the back of the serving area where it would have been very easy to get wine but not allowed. My wife finally figured out how to get a pizza. We were given a menu and told we could order food by scanning the bar code and order wine by walking back downstairs and paying and bringing it back upstairs? Also, we were told to throw out our own garbage. We picked a couch by the open doors and were then told that was actually reserved? We then picked another spot in the middle of the room. ![]() were told any spot was fine as no tables are reserved. When we finally got to the hostess she quickly went through a mix of directions about ordering food and wine, gave us a number and a table stand and had someone escort us to a table upstairs.
